APRIL: Easter Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake

This recipe is super easy and makes such a great centerpiece on your Easter dessert table. This recipe is totally customizable too, use whatever flavors, candies, toppings you prefer!

Grab your favorite colorful candies and your family and make this wonderful cookie cake together!


Ingredients: 1 stick Butter

¼ cup White Sugar

¾ cup Brown Sugar

1 Egg

2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract

1 1/3 cup Flour

½ teaspoon Baking Soda

¼ teaspoon Salt

½ cup Chocolate Chips

½ cup Spring-Colored M&Ms

¼ cup M&M Eggs



Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9-inch pie plate and set aside. Cream together the butter and both sugars until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes). Scrape down the sides of the bowl. Add in egg and vanilla extract. Mix. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Mix into the butter mixture just until combined. Add in the chocolate chips, spring-colored M&Ms, and the M&M eggs, reserving a little bit of each to garnish the cookie cake after baking. Mix well. Scrape the dough into the prepared pan, and press down with your hand or a spatula until it is even. Bake for 20-22 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Remove from the oven and gently press the remaining candies into the cookie cake while it is still hot. Cool before serving.
