If you are in need of a easy yet delicious crowd-pleaser, look no further. This recipe utilizes a lot of ingredients that require little to no preparation. This recipe is interesting in that after the filling is baked and set, sour cream is spread over the top before being covered in whole strawberries. After doing a little research, turns out that's just the Midwest way! If that makes you a little concerned just start out with half of the amount listed below and try it like that first. Maybe it will grow on you.

Ingredients:
2-8 oz packages of cream cheese
½ c sugar
½ t vanilla
2 eggs
1- 9-in premade graham cracker crust
½ c sour cream
3 c whole strawberries
2 T strawberry jelly
Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla with a hand mixer or stand mixer with the paddle attachment until well blended. Add eggs: mix until smooth. Pour into crust. Bake at 350F for 40 minutes or until center is almost set. Let cool, then refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight. Spread sour cream over the cheesecake, then top with the strawberries, stem side down. Drizzle with heated jelly and serve.
